Great experience with Dr. Pan and the whole Esana team. I had wanted a breast augmentation since my teens, and finally decided to go ahead with it at age 22. I found Dr. Pan through RealSelf, and had my initial consultation with her back in February. I explained to Dr. Pan that I wanted smaller implants and wanted to remain as natural as possible. Dr. Pan understood what I wanted and needed right away, recommending me implants that would look good on my small frame, and even took into consideration that I love to run/workout. I decided to go with Dr. Pan as my surgeon without meeting with anyone else!
My surgery was initially scheduled for April, but due to the pandemic was pushed to beginning of May. I actually didn’t decide on my implant size until the day of my surgery (Dr. Pan orders 3 sizes for you) and ended up going with 225cc. The day of my surgery went so smoothly, and the only pain I had was right after surgery. Overall, my recovery went extremely smoothly. I was up and walking around easily by the third day, and only needed Tylenol after the first two nights for pain management.
Throughout the whole process, Dr. Pan kept telling me that patients usually wish they had gone bigger, and advised me to go with 250cc, but I was so afraid of having implants that were too big (especially because I started with nothing). I was scared of the adjustment and assured her that I would rather be too small than too big. But now that I am 2+ months post-op, I can honestly say I wish I had listened to her and gone just a little bigger! My biggest advice is don’t base your implant size off what other people got, or off of bra size. Everyone’s body is different so implants will look different on everyone. Listen to your surgeon and pick a size based on the look you want to have!
Overall, I am so happy with my results. I love the way my new boobs look and feel. It only took me about two weeks to adjust to them, and now I feel like this is the body I was born with. Highly recommend Dr. Pan to anyone looking to have a breast augmentation! Also thank you to Michelle and everyone else at Esana for their patience and answering all my questions.
