During rhinoplasty recovery you may have sutures and/or a splint outside to support and protect the area.  There is usually swelling and some degree of bruising depending on how extensive the procedure is.  The use of local anesthetic during the surgery results in less postop pain for Dr. Davila’s patients.  Swelling will resolve significantly in the first month, allowing patients to start enjoying their rhinoplasty results, but the complete process can take a year or longer.  One detail to keep in mind is that the swelling fluctuates on a daily basis and this is affected by factors such as physical activity, exertion, sleeping position and even salt intake.  Detailed expectations and activity restrictions will be reviewed during a consultation prior to surgery.

The fees provided below are range estimates that vary depending on complexity, operative time and specific technique.  An individualized cost estimate will be provided after your cosmetic consultation.  Surgical fees range from $7000 – 10,000 not including anesthesia fees and surgery center fees.  These are dependent on operative time and will be estimated and itemized on your rhinoplasty quote.
